You'd be just as crazy to be in the US Capitol without a gun as you would be to make a 150 mile road trip without packing heat.

It's funny, the Senator is legal to own the gun, posses in the capital, but it is illegal for him to have it driving from VA into Washington DC.

Hopefully that will be straightened out shortly. It was stupid, reckless and negligent of him to leave his firearm improperly attended.

I think he's pretty firmly pro gun. The only two bad things I've heard said about him are that he's a tad impolite and he's a Democrat.
