Sen. Jim Webb finally admitted he owns a gun that an aide was arrested for carrying into the U.S. Capitol complex in March.

Webb previously had refused to say whether the gun was his, although his senior aide — Phillip Thompson — had told police the weapon belonged to the Democratic senator.

Rick, can you enlighten me as to this senators record in regard to the Second Amendment?

It's funny, the Senator is legal to own the gun, posses in the capital, but it is illegal for him to have it driving from VA into Washington DC.

Hopefully that will be straightened out shortly. It was stupid, reckless and negligent of him to leave his firearm improperly attended.

I think he's pretty firmly pro gun. The only two bad things I've heard said about him are that he's a tad impolite and he's a Democrat.
