NCAA World Series (SPOILER)
I'll tell you one thing, UC Irvine is fun to watch. How about them Anteaters! Tomorrows game against the Beavers ought to be pretty good. Unfortunately, the road should end there. Nobody has a team that can beat Rice, IMHO.

GO BEAVERS! If Turp is pitching? Rice may not have the game it plans on... He throws looking the same in every pitch. The batter facing him doesn't have a clue what's coming...Fast, change-up, slider, or curve. And if Turp gives out? Beware of Joe Patterson. Overall, the Beavers have one hell of a bullpen, and oboy do they ever know how to play defense. They aren't terrible at the plate either. Of course, there ARE those pesky anteaters... The Anteaters are the Cinderella team this year.
![]() Let's face it, ANY team that makes it to Omaha is a damned good team. ![]()

Maybe I should have said beat Rice twice. But then again, I know not if the final series is best of three, or if it's double elimination throughout. UNC shouldn't be alive this time tomorow, though.
I have no favorite, I just like seeing great games. Can I root for OSU Paul? How well do they bat? I have no ties.

Well, so far, so good for the Beavers. Who'd have thunk? Looks now like they have a shot of being only the 5th team to have ever won the College world series twice in a row. I mean, a "cow college", located in the central Willamette Valley of Oregon...becoming a collegiate baseball power??? Who'd have thunk??? Now one win away from winning all the marbles in 2007...
GO BEAVERS! ![]() P.S: Guess you'll have to ask the NC Tarheels pitching staff how well the Beavers bat. What was that final score of game #1 of the championship series again???? Oh yeah... 11-4! ![]()

WOW!
Matt, we may be the only two here who give a damn about college baseball. Nevertheless, a bump here. The Oregon State Beavers are now the 5th team to have won the college world series twice in a row! A tip of my hat to all the teams who even made it to Omaha.... But...WOW! Coming out of the rain soaked Pacific Northwest, to win college baseball's greatest prize? WOW!
Final score? Beavers 9, North Carolina Tarheels 3. Game ended on a Joe Patterson strikeout...
