Looks like a bulbous stretched limo with a spoiler from the rear...

You can see in the pictures that there is certainly some disguise to the real shape around the B and C pillars and nose

It's like they've gone out of their way to make it uglier than necessary. Porsche doesn't produce a lot of ugly, but when they do, they really excel at it.

It looks like the latest offering from Kia. I hope that super-heavy rear bumper goes in the trash heap!

Not to my taste, but we'll see what's under the disquise
This behemoth won't help Porsche with the Euro commisions new requirement for 2012 fleet carb emissions (maybe if they include Porsche bicyles and pedal cars...). How will they comply if they keep building 'em bigger?

If they had any interest in keeping it secret they certainly wouldn't drive it down the 405 for God-sake. There is no more conspicuous freeway in the country. I'd say this is a Marketing effort to start generating some buzz. Like it is here...

Looking at the outline on the C pillar I would expect to see the back look more 911'ish on the real thing. I'd guess the back end will be a lot lower than that bulbous monstrosity. The huge bumper and duck tail exagerate it even more, I'm sure it's a deliberate attempt to hide some fairly graceful curves.
It's funny looking at the side shots how they appear to have made an outline for the windows in black and white tape to try and hide the true outline.

That's what I'm saying. Look more carefully at this side shot...

PAG has come a long way since for example 1973. Compare the model line that year with today. Possibly the only route they could have taken, but I can´t help but to feel a slight sensation of something has been lost in the process. Not least while looking at one of the posters from 73 with the launch of the RS compared to that 'King Kong' on the spy shots.
