Coolest toy ever?

Wow. They sure didn't have this kinda stuff when I was growing up.
I think we'll have to get one when they come out. Pricey, but too cute to pass up I think.

http://pleoworld.com/

Take a good look around the site..ready the FAQ's and stuff. Cool stuff.

Slated to be THE hot toy of the year.

Very cool to see what they are doing with robotics these days... $350 is a lot of money but I think people were paying around $1000 for those robotic dogs a few years back... and let's not even think about what people are spending on cell phones

For now I think I will stick to playing with my cat.

I read somewhere that the Pleo has a Bluetooth iPhone interface.

Best,

$350 is just nuts. My 7 year old daughter would love this thing, but at that price it's just not happening. I resisted the urge to show her the video. She'd probably start saving her allowance if she saw it. Of course she'd be 14 before she'd have enough. Maybe I can get a dino suit for her Furby.

until they start shyt'n all over the place when they eat sump'n nasty.

I say give the kid a bag-o-nails, a few pieces-o-wood and some wheels and see what happens - much cheap and can sometimes be found on the side of the road.

old school Lego's (basic blocks, maybe a few cone trees) and Tonka trucks, what else does a kid need?

this thing is a neat toy for 5 minutes. If it came in a really big box, it might be OK.
