And W shows his inability to comprehend a nation full of pissed off legal residents by implying that the legal citizenry wanted it to pass.

Thank you for posting that. I can promise that anyone who voted yea for this will NEVER receive my vote.
So that means that at least 3 presidential hopefulls are out of the running the way I see it.

I can't stop laughing. I wonder if the VP was in charge. No, if so we wouldn't know about it. Clearly this is a Shrub competent process.
While I have strong opinions on this issue, I choose to lecture my elected representives, not the forum. Thanks Jim. Best, Grady

Grady,
You couldn't be more right..The elected officials felt your and my heat, thats why it was a flaming disaster for them today. Read this from the architect of anarchy: Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., his party's lead negotiator on the bill, called its defeat "enormously disappointing for Congress and for the country." But, he added: "We will be back. This issue is not going away." I wish he would go away... what a POS! I wish we had an open forum with most politicians to dialog. They are shrouded by the "e" lectronic firewall of conviction and accountability. I should maintain a lower profile..But I cant help it... Bob
