motorcycle guys, good oil and battery?

I finished the top end on my bike and I'm just about ready to fill it up and break it in.

What do you suggest I use? The bike has a wet clutch. Anything new on the market? Royal Purple?

Also need a battery. Heard something about an Odyssey? Would like to get something that will last a while.

I put an Odyssey PC680 in my BMW two years ago. It has required zero charging, even after sitting all winter. No worries about battery acid leaks either. Ebay has some good prices.

Motul - I think the 5100 stuff is what I use in mine (also a wet clutch setup). Fully synthetic, specially formulated for the higher temperatures & pressures. Very good oil.

Edit, save you some searching:

I'm running Motul (dry clutch, v-twin). Selected b/c it's good stuff, and that's what a buddy had sitting in his basement after the dealer did his oil change instead of himself. Otherwise, I probably would have used Klotz.

Yuasa battery.
