Anyone Considering a Verizon Broadband Wireless Card?
I just installed the Verizon Broadband card in my Powerbook G4 (Apple) Laptop, and am pretty amazed by it. I was doing some work (my friend was driving) on the highway on the way to the airport, and surfing at broadband speeds. Setup had a minor glitch (I didn't know I had to call in and activate the card like a cell phone) but once that was done it's been flawless. It about 60 bucks a month. If I lived alone and was paying $45 a month anyway, I would do it in a heartbeat. I'm just testing it out now, but would highly recommend it...especially if you can get your work to pay for it or write it off somehow.

It is cool - I always had the pc card, I think it'd be even better to have one of the new built-in versions; on demand internet, pretty much anywhere.
However, I canceled the service a couple of months ago, when my contract was up; I simply wasn't using it enough to justify the expense.
