Transformer!
Wow. This is the first movie I can remember that has made me want to buy another ticket to see it again. I don't think I've ever had that much fun in a movie. The bots were very well done...and the hotties were HOT!
I'll probably see it on the big screen again before it goes to video. |

As a child of the 80's, I HAD to see it. (Okay, 70's, but I was a kid in the 80's.)
I thought it was the oddest mix of really good and really bad I've ever seen in a movie. The robots were FREAKIN' AWESOME. The humans...got in the way of the story, IMO.

I went to see it yesterday, I have to say I teared up when the autobots came to earth and were picking their forms. The sheer magnitude of the movie was awesome, it was well worth seeing in the theater, and I'm definately going to buy it when it comes out on dvd. Cars is my favorite family movie, but this has replaced Terminator 2 as my favorite regular movie of all time.

I really enjoyed it.
![]() The acting wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. The plot wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. But there was plenty of action and eye candy during the whole movie, which worked for me. ![]() I also loved that airstrike at the beginning. But I won't go into details... BB.

The film is comedy and action with a little bit of romance rolled into one and well executed. Tough to do when the action is transforming robots.
It's go some predictable scenes and such, but that goes for all movies. It's not suppose to be a shocker or a drama. Heather stated that we went into it with lower expectations being that it is based on an 80's cartoon...and we came out very ompressed. Wayne, she loved it too. And she's not that into cartons or cars that transform. So you wife should enjoy it. |

My fiancee loved it as well. Come to think of it, she may have even enjoyed it more than I did!

I loved the first hour. Witty, fun, sarcastic and great robot scenes.
Then I feel like they didn't know how to finish it. I guess the plot is never a forte for these movies but how did they get from the Dam to the (a) city in 5 minutes? Plus Megan Fox might be hot but really she's no clue abt acting. And what's with the Aussie chick? Also I didn't much like the 'bots fighting each other as I couldn't tell the good from the bad guys... PS I LOVED the Camaro... are they going to go ahead with production or is it only a concept? |

Someone sent me a review about a week before it came out that essentially said the robots in Transformers were better actors than the entire cast of "Armageddon" and it was more historically accurate than "Pearl Harbor".

How did this movie mesh with the original Transformers movie where Optimus Prime died? Is this a prequil or did Optimus get resurected some how? My younger boy loved the movie but my older son and I haven't seen it yet.

It's a complete re-interpretation of the story. It doesn't really follow or precede what came before.
It's more like old BSG versus new BSG...

Cool Movie:
Went and saw it last Monday, since my company supplied the metal tubes and ductwork for it last year. I still don't know how they found us, but we're on Dreamworks vendor list now. Woohoo!!!

apparently they mistakenly named Brawl 'Devastator' when the translated the decepticon language subtitles. im not sure whether this means that the real devastator will be coming in a sequel? Bonecrusher who is part of devastator had his head ripped off by Primes sword anyway!
