Just saw it - best comedy/action movie I have seen in years.
A must see. The sound and CGI are incredible. I may buy a HD DVD player when the movie is released just to show off my new HT. Loved the new Camaro - I have heard rumors of an '09 model year release.

Yeah, the whole G.I. Joe/computer nerd plot line was unnecessary, IMO.

If you dig too much into the plot then it falls apart...
I mean the Hoover Dam part is taken directly from Independence Day (area 51 that not even the president knows about) and Terminator (revers engineering of everything from the cube/Megatron). Again I found the first hour very enjoyable and funny. Then (say after the 2 kids are taken by Turturro) I couldn't wait for it to be over. |

It's a movie based on a children's show - don't think about it too much. It has hot chicks, cool cars, guns, explosions, chase scenes - whats not to like.
