I'm not sure Louis' 1 pit stop error caused him as much time (if any) as he and the English press might want us to believe. It scared the crap out of the pit crew, but Louis still got out of there in what looked like his targeted time.

I saw Louis lock up a rear tire going a turn, but that may have been brake bias..all driver controlled during the race. You saw Kimi do it before and after turns, constantly making adjustments.

I think Louis had a bad day, and prehaps maybe with the Ferraris back in the game Louis' doesn't look so amazing. If Massa can fend off the red fog and drive like he did yesterday all the time, Louis Lunacy will wane.

MFAFF - probably different. It'd be a tough order to fill to make it more wheel to wheel...limiting aero would help, but might be tough to do. Oh well. It's been one hell of a 1st half of the season. Go Kimi! :D

Damn right....

I hope it continues.....

And with the Stepney/ McLaren/Honda 'Spy Ring' saga thrown in for good measure...

After the European GP we'll get driver silly season starting as well...;)

I was under the impression Hamilton screwed himself with the super light fuel load that got him his pole on Saturday and subsequent early pit stop which, of course, would require him to take on more fuel and spend more time in the pits. His little mistake at that 1st stop did not appear to take up that much time. It was a 9 second stop IIRC.

I am still amazed by MacLarens reliability. They could not keep mirrors on the cars let alone finish a race.

Thank goodness for Stepney. :D

Hami had to qualify well in front of the home crowd, and then hoped to hang on to his position....

I agree, the little miss-step in the pits did basically nothing to cost hamilton time, maybe a tenth or two but not much more.
His car was just not as fast as Alonso's.
