FireFox Help

I need some help from the FireFox gurus. On the Pelican BB, and only the Pelican BB, I will be reading a thread and want to move to the next page or back to the top of that forum. More often than not FireFox just sits there with nothing happening except in the status bar it says Waiting for PelicanParts. Usually I just hit ESC and keep trying but sometimes I have the leave the site completely and then come back to properly navigate for a few minutes.

Is there a setting I need to make? Maybe something in the Pop-Up blocker?

Halm,
I'm not a FF "guru" but I am using FF version 2.0.0.4 (default config).

What version are you using, I haven't had any problems recently. Although a couple of weeks ago I know there were some issues with the site both with IE and FF.

Have you tried using IE on this site to see if you have the same issues?
Does it happen on only one PC, are you at work or home when it happens?

Rob

Hi Rob, Same FF version as you. Problems with IE are fewer but I will have them occasionally. I travel a lot and often plug the same laptop in to a client's router that is 6Mb straight to the Internet but FF still has the same issues. And I have this on either a fresh Vista install or my somewhat older XP hard drive that I swap in and out from time to time.

Hal,
Have you checked the FF error log when you are having problems.?
Tools > Error Console

After reading the problem again, this was exactly what the problem I was having with this site for a while, here is a thread with some info that Wayne put out
July 13th...
