Need a laptop keyboard
I got a ChemBook laptop 4 months ago, then spilled a little coffee on the keyboard a few days ago. The local tech said it only got into the keyboard and the keyboard is almost certainly toast. Now ChemUSA says the manufacturer, ASUS, say's it's EOL (End of Life), no replacement. It's apparently an ASUS M6BNE. Any ideas where to get a keyboard? I find this situation hard to believe.

Steve,
What model Chembook is it? M6000? Did you buy it new 4 months ago? If so then it should be under warranty, EOL doesn't always mean warranty has expired. The best way to find the correct keyboard is to remove the keyboard and find the part number for it, this way you should be able to find it online somewhere. I looked a little but without the part number I wasn't sure what works for your laptop.

It says M6B00N. I've been told it's an ASUS M6BNE. Looks like it was made in 2004. Numbers off the keyboard:
Model K000962Q1 S/N 20042711730 P/N 04-N951KUSA0
