Anyone recognize this bottlecap?
I found this under the back seat of my 944 when I pulled it out. It was sort of embedded in the glue and fibers. I think it might have been there since the factory.
Anyone recognize it? (I wrecked the paint a little when trying to clean off the fiber. D'oh!) ![]()

Agreed, its a mineral water cap, believe might one that is carbonated but not sure.
Did you find it inside your 911?

It says: Mineral Heil Quelle Ensingen
Otherwise known as 'Ensinger', a small bottler of mineral water from Baden Wuerttemberg - not far from Stuttgart. So this may indeed have come from the factory.

That's pretty neat. If that mineral water is from Baden-Württemberg, then it definately was left there by a worker in the factory.
944's were not made in the Porsche factory in Stuttgart, but instead in the old NSU/VW factory in Baden-Württemberg/Neckarsulm. |

Keep it and store with all your car paperwork. Interesting thing to pass along with the car should you sell it.
Also email me sometime and will see if I can pick up a unopened bottle of the same water for you next time I am in Germany. That and the old bottle cap would be nice.
