What's a cool, undervalued, classic bike?

I'm looking for something cool. And I'm cheap. What bike do you think will be the next classic? I foolishly thought this-

Haha-the bidding STARTS at $10k. So what else? My list so far-

81-83 GPZ 750 or 1000

80/81 Suzuki GS 1100e

A really clean CB 400, 550, 750 supersport (all 4 cyl)

CB 350 (2 cyl- kinda small, but a buddy just bought one-it's fun)

old Gold Wing

I'll sell you a 1980 Suzook GS1000S for $3,500. They only made 700 in 1979 and again in 1980. I have one of each. I had 22 bikes up until May of this year. Decided to downsize to make room for the 2nd 911.

I've sold six bikes in the last 2 months. Will also sell a very original 1978 Triumph 750 Bonneville........I agree with your list.....I have several of those on your list and just sold a CB400F.....G'luck

how about those honda turbos? I think I remember seeing some low mileage original ones posted here that were going for very cheap. Old turbo bikes would seem kinda cool.

Hodakas. Wombat, Combat Wombat, Road Toad, etc. Kinda small, but very well made (in Oregon) bikes. Already have a bit of a cult following.

Friend just picked up a mid/late 80s BMW motorbike for not much to be turned into a ratbike. He's also just finishing restoring a Guzi police bike from the early 70s that he got for dirt cheap last year...

What about the '80 Yamaha two strokers? I see a guy around here on one all the time and it's very unique. TZ250 I think?

Excellent call, man!

I used to have an RZ350. Those things are soooo much fun. Lightweight, super zingy and just flat out fun.

Sorry to mislead-that was my list of possibilities. Not my inventory.

Where in N. Ark.? I'm guessing we've met.

Had a Combat Wombat. You're right. Damn near indestructable. It was ripped off, abused, recovered, returned to me, started 1st kick after God knows what happened to it. Too small and slow though. I'm looking for just a little more oomph - not much though. 250cc is my bottom limit-

Looking at this Suzuki T-10 tomorrow. My wife wants it-

All of the above are great suggestions. I've considered the Moto Guzzis (so far too expensive), Yamaha 2 strokes (possible but getting bought up), GS 1000s but still too much $$, and 80 Katana (yikes$$). I hadn't considered the turbo Hondas. That would be cool. If any of these bike come available for cheap, I'm in.

How about one of these? (Mine):

Or one of these? (My best friend's who I'm staying with in Mpls.):

Or one of these? (Friend who is visiting):

Bottom line is to just buy bikes that you like and want to own, you never know when you might get stuck with something. (Not able to sell). I follow that rule for anything I buy, works out pretty well.

Honda Hawk GT/NT650.

This one isn't mine, but you get the idea. 650 V-Twin. Loads of torque. Only made from '88 till '92.

I had a friend with one of those two stroke RZ350's, he wecked it on Highway 30 in Iowa. Fun bike though before he crashed it.

I think the original Honda Interceptors might be worth something someday.

Another Honda I hadn't considered. I like it.

Here's one I'm considering. Fits all the criteria - classic bike, low production, not too spendy (hopefully).-
