Explosion in NYC?? WTF?
Was watching the local Toronto news last night, and they interrupted to say there had been report of an explosion in NYC, and people running, fleeing, etc....
Tried CNN at that point, because they would be all over it like a fat kid on a smartie, and get treated to footage of dogs ripping each other apart, re. Michael Dick (POS). So, obviously, hopefully, a news FUBAR........did anything happen in NYC? Mark

Sounds like the media have itchy trigger finger-itis.

What a lousy commute that was last night.
One person died from heart attack. Some asbestos in the air surrounding the site. I have to say, most people were very calm. Just trying to get where they were going. I saw no panic anywhere.

NY steam line blow up
Would some one please alert the media that a one time exposure to asbestos WILL NOT kill you or cause cancer to appear overnight. All I have heard is how the explosion has sent “deadly asbestos” into the air and people are breathing it and are covered with asbestos. GMAFB! Take a shower and wash your clothes and get on with your life. Don’t call your PI lawyer and start counting your settlement yet.
