30" Wheels

This picture was taken yesterday in Cincinnati. It is not PhotoShop'ed. The car is a mint condition "Crazy Plum" metallic Firebird riding on 30" wheels. I am simply speechless.

When will this insanity end?

You know, I was speechless before, but now I'm just plain nauseous.....

I mean, I understand the basic ricer/boy racer thing. These guys are saying, "Look at me! I'm a real race car driver!" But I have absolutely no connection with the looks in the above photos. I just don't get it. What are these guys saying? "Look at me! I'm a pimp!" Why don't they just cut to the chase and all drive monster trucks? WTF!!

Wonder if there is a connection between dogfighting and having 24" plus wheels on your Cutlass(or whatever) So you use a little stepladder to get in or what?

Well, I think that connection (rappers, gangbangers & dog fighting) has been made

The one upside to all that is all the time these people spend on creating new "bling" is less time they're spending reproducing.

I used to really like big rims. My idea of big went out of fad 15 years ago it seems. Besides modern super sports cars, nothing else looks good with rims bigger than 17" IMHO.

SUV's with these huge rims and skinny sidewall tires look even more ridiculous.

That's pretty wild when the consumables cost more than the entire car.

the real reason that most of these "guys" spend rediculous amounts of money for big ass wheels on their pos cars is called money laundering.........."untracable" expensive assets make the hood go round.

Umm...I live across the street from the hood. The wheels are their only asset.

the ones who actually live in "the hood" who are actually "players" do not really live in the hood, they have a house somewhere in a shady area and will have cars in many different garages......when they "do their business" they roll a plain jane olds or something of the like which will attract the least attention from the cops, their other cars with the big wheels are statements to get all the kids excited.......
