I am ashamed...I have become one of "them".
I take great pride in doing things myself. If any of you have followed my builds you know that I am a "do-it-yourselfer" almost to a fault. It is almost painful for me to take a car to a mechanic.
I have thrown in the towel on the Targa and am dragging it up to Moto Delta today and dropping it off. I just don't have the time to finish it and the wife is getting anxious to drive her car daily. So I am about to become a "check writer".....

101 Projects for Check Writers Chapter 1 : Backing your car out of the garage without hitting all the crap you have stored in the way. 1 Star Chapter 2: Finding a reputable & capable mechanic to work on your car. 2 star Chapter 3: Adding oil without spilling it all over the engine compartment. 2 1/2 stars Chapter 4: Replacing your wiper blades 3 star Chapter 5: Installing H4's properly so they dont fall off your car 4 star

Hey, we all have to succumb to it sooner or later but hopefully not on a permanent basis. Life is sometimes just too busy to be able to do everything. I've had to learn that.

Hey some jobs are just beyond us; I almost totaled the car when I tried to change the ashtray fluid by myself a year ago.

I was a combination of time consuming tedious stuff, and somewhat more difficult stuff. I also figured while it was there to get some normal maintenance stuff done. Just trying to get the car up to daily driver status.
On a side note we met Chris and the fam over at the Autobahn Country Club and Chris won his race! Also witnessed some GruppeB engineering trackside... It was a sight to behold.

Here is a pic of the targa on the trailer. I forgot the camera at the race so I didn't get any shots of that.
Also since apparently this thread has been deemed "non-technical" and moved to off-topic I guess I should mention that global warming is fake, Bush lied about it, and hillary is the debil.
