Ex-49er Coach Bill Walsh died today. A sad day for football, especially for us Niner diehards. He was a real class act.

Man - what a team he built. Too bad he got stuck with John York at the end, but I'm not too sure even he could work his magic with that monster salary cap issue.

very sad day for the 49's organization and football in general. He was very much a gentleman in a hard game but always seemed to be a leader with character and high moral standards.
I will find it hard to believe if anyone has something negative to say about his coaching or his life. RIP |

To hear him talk he seemed too nice to be a football coach but must have had some locker room skil to attain what he did. One of my favorite commentators.
