New bass rig and stuff

I got tired of carrying around a lot of heavy stuff! Bought his set up today. Ampeg BA115HP. 1 x15 @ 250 watts. Weighs in a at whopping 62lbs! Of course I'll still play the vintage Thunderbird, but this MIJ J bass called the "aerodyne" caught my eye too. Now my whole set up would fit in a Mini!

my rig is smaller (hmm, that doesn't sound right). For a small gig, my Ashdown ABM-500 amp

and this:

3-way 1-10.

For bigger rooms I'll run my Epifani 2-10. Or if I need a bit more, both cabs.

looks like a svelte bass. I can't play a 4-string anymore though...I get totally lost.

Having a garage full of "freezer-sized" cabinets (some from the 60's), I can appreciate now being able to go to a casual and be in and out in 1 trip these days. Congratulations!

I use a 5 string set on a 4 string. B,E,A,D. Got to doing it after I played a 5 for a while then went back to the T-Bird. I missed the B. So......I may leave this one EADG for a while as kind of a Picollo bass. ;-)>

Yeah I dragged an SVT 8x10 around for years. Then I went to a Hartke 4x10 as my "laptop" for smaller venues, then all the time, then begrudgingly, all the time. At 56 YOA I am ( and my back) glad to be downsized for once and for all. I looked at the Ashdown combo too, good enough for the Ox good enough for me. But then I got a better deal on the Ampeg and I know their qualities better. I really don't care for Fender basses, but I got sucked in by this one. Looks cool, plays great.
