Tivoli Audio: Anyone Else Have One?
I was looking for a small am/fm radio for my desk that sounded good and had good reception. I bought the Tivoli Audio Model One and am just stunned at how good it sounds with just a single speaker. Also has unbelievably good reception and just looks cool. Price is right too.

Great little unit from the mind of Henry Kloss (AR, KLH, Advent, Cambridge Sound Works)...What a great guy. I sold tons of his equipment back in the 70's. Still love the tuner on my old Advent 300 (makes a great little preamp for a low-buck system as well). They have "extension speakers", "subs" and CD changers as well for that series in the same size enclosure. Cool products.:)

Kloss also had some neat "fringe products" for the time as well. The Kloss "Novabeam" projection TV, the Advent "Soundspace delay", etc. He was a neat guy, an old ham radio/tube guy.

I've actually wanted to get one for awhile but never got around to it. The reception blew away the similar Boston Acoustics when I tested 'em in the store with the same antenna.
