Wink

Not necessarily an executive- a consultant.

And there is a fourth rule:

Every report should include a recommendation for more study.

Actually the bag and bathroom report recommendations have served me very well. I caught an airport employee (janitor) actually trying to steal my bag at JFK.

And if you've ever been three hours in a cab with no opportunity after you left the airport with lots of bathrooms well.....you don't forget those things.

That one's a given while you're standing at the stall! When I've lost "eye contact" before, I was actually going through the security line (along with other folks with laptops), and between the personal search, scans, etc. and all the laptops going through the scanner, I've seen a virtual "three ring circus" on the "pick up" side with everyone trying to locate "their" laptop

Well here's another weird one: a fellow and I advertantly changed bags during security and I was paged to go to Security when I was out at the gate (I didn't know I didn't have my own bag). When I got there I felt like I was being arrested- taken to a small room, did you open this bag, why did you take it, etc. Turns out our bags were identical but he was obviously NSA/CIA or something. They didn't say.

And pre 911 I was checking in to go to LHR when I discovered that the bag that was mine was taken by someone else. The bag that was left was identical to mine but was newer. When I told the ticket agent she said don't worry about it he's going to London too. I raised heck and had her page (after I had to get the supervisor) him and get my bag back.

Both incidents were at Dulles- any wonder the original hijackers started from there?

In a lot of states, such as California (not sure about Or), you can get
a permanent lock on your credit that is only accessible with your special
10 digit code for that service (equifax, transunion, experian).... it costs
$10 to get this, or it is free if you have a police report documenting your
identity theft crime. I got one recently after my identity was stolen and
someone almost walked away with a very large sum of money from an online
trading account at e-trade.

to me, the permanent lock was better than the 7 year lock...
