What's the best websites to search for commercial/indust. property (lease or sale)?
Looking to lease or possibly buy a commercial or industrial property.
Have contacted a few brokers, but they are frustrating in their disinterest. They seem to want to so a 5 minute search of their database and that's about it. I'd imagine there are currently some good internet sites available with listings. Seen a few that seem ok, but none that seem to have full coverage of all properties. Any suggestions? |

Loopnet and Costar are two good commercial listing sources, but you may need to be a broker to get listing details. Call a commercial broker and ask for the youngest agent in the office. He will be hungry.

I work industrial right now, but in South Florida mainly.
Chances are slim, but post what you are looking for and if I see something, I'll throw it your way. |

I am assuming since you mentioned leasing that you are looking for space to use yourself, and therefore somewhere locally.

Contract or partner with the Daddy on your project. We have plenty of capacity (both manufacturing and floor space).
Not to mention an ample supply of unemployed talent in the area. ![]()

Lots of selection on Loopnet, but like all the other websites, it's mostly leftovers.
As soon as an agent gets a listing, he will shop it to his normal clients. If there are no takers, then it's circulated around the office. Only after a couple of weeks will they let the whole world in on it and post the listing on-line. I've looked at plenty of properties on Loopnet, but my actual purchases have come from a agent's new listing, or a word of mouth deal. You might see properties a bit sooner on a broker's website, but even then it has already been shown around quite a bit. The most profitable properties will already be sold before they go on line. |

I'm looking more to lease than buy at this time. So hopefully that makes it a little easier. |

Your're thinking Portland? Better try to get friendly with a guy named Bob Ames...
