Songs I Never Need To Hear Again

"Tears of a Clown"

BGCarrera32 08-28-2007 05:15 PM

Run-Around by Blues Traveler

Porsche-O-Phile 08-28-2007 05:19 PM

That "Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage" song by Smashing Pumpkins. I swear KROQ must be paid $100 every time they play that. Most overplayed song in HISTORY.

Hey There Delilah

azasadny 08-28-2007 05:34 PM

Any rap song....

Rick Lee 08-28-2007 05:59 PM

Any classic rock song defiled by being snipped and then run ad nauseum by the current crop of horrible tv commercials.

i'm your captain/i'm getting closer to my home...grand funk railroad.

Ya got that right. We're talkin music here - rap music ain't music, it's an oxymoron (some might accent the second syllable).

"don't worry, be happy"

Any Rap and/or Indiscernible Reggae lyrics with background noise

Por_sha911 08-28-2007 06:28 PM

"Yummy, yummy, yummy, I've got love in my tummy and I feel like lovin you"
If you remember this song, then consider our new motto: "Don't trust anyone under 50"

pwd72s 08-28-2007 06:33 PM

+1 on rap...may it soon fade, as the disco era did. But if I could pick ONE song to never hear again? "In the year 2525"...Zegar and Evans (sp?) Hell, I'd rather listen to "itsy bitsy yellow polkadot bikini" by Bobby Hyland (sp?).

Now..to the one I could listen to the most? "Mack the knife"- Bobby Darin

takin' care of bizness
mony mony
old time rock and roll
mustang sally
louie louie

tush
sharp dressed man
feelings

I can go on forever. Basically any song I have played more than 200 times.

We used to say "Don't trust anyone over 30" but....

Horse with no name.

I think this is the worst song ever written.
