No, but the guy in the police video posted a few days ago must have. In case you missed it...

no, there is water in it, either that or the glass is thicker below the ring.

It looks a bit more than half full, but I am an incurable optimist

I suppose unless the glass and surroundings are in a vacuum, it's absolutely full

Kang's answer is close to my take on the question.

Half full = 0 + 1/2
Half empty = 1 - 1/2

So, without knowing the history of this glass we cannot answer the question.

Nosmo,

Please reiterate? Where and what part of physics did I miss that one! The water would boil out.

Fuzzy math? Take a glass that’s empty, take half of it, and you have a glass that’s half empty. Take a glass that’s full, take half of it, and you have a glass that’s half full.

I see a glass that has more of an opportunity to be better than it is right now.

The bigger question is was the glass empty and global warming caused it to flood or was the glass full and global warming caused it to evaporate?

Would have to take into account the temperature/volume levels before I could answer correctly......

Uh oh... my ignorance must be showing, Robert. Guess I didn't pay enough attention in physics?

In any event, I suppose it contains particles (water/air, presumably) and must not be in a vacuum, so I vote "full"

But to quote a famous physician,
"Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor not a scientist!"

Who said there is water in the glass?

It could be any transparent liquid... for example Vodka.

I can't believe you can find humor at a time like this. It useed to be completely full but the dems spent so much money they had to raise taxes and they took half the water and gave it to people who are too lazy to go to the well. When will it end?
