I have to admit, life up here makes me want to pinch myself. We'll see how the winter goes, although it will be Brazil and/or Europe next winter. We're trying this winter here for the skiing and to see how much milder Montana winters have become in the past several years. Thanks everyone for stopping by the blog. I'm having a hoot keeping it going.

Still here, just moved up to the DFW area a few months back, started a new job and the wife just had our 3rd baby. Add to that coaching my kid's soccer team and I don't get to surf PPOT as much as I used to. I'm trying to check in once a day, just haven't seen much to respond to.

Thanks for thinkin of me tho, bro.

Here's a pic of the new addition, fresh out of the oven, as it were:

Rick? Point well made. To each his own.

Its a nice spread in Gods country. I woulda thought a Ferrari owner would be more of an urban dweller, then an out back type. There is alot to be said for getting outa the rat race that has become SO CA. I remember when Crown Valley Parkway in Laguna Niguel was nothin but rolling hills covered with grass.

I grew up in Montana, so getting back there is not much of a stretch. While I still absolutely love Laguna Niguel, that little pocket of urban bliss is being encroached upon more and more every day by all the problems others living in SoCal are familiar with. I still can't think of a better area anywhere than Laguna Niguel/Monarch Beach, but things change, and in this case its for the worse. I cringe to think what will become of that area in the next 10 years. Its a shame, really. Better to get my stakes planted up here to prepare for the inevitable.

I dig that one, Motion. As with the 911, not all "evolution" is good...

I'm sorry to have left SO CA the weather was da bomb, and where i lived up against the foothills it was pretty quiet. The only problem came when I left the house to go anywhere, one had to deal with the ANTHILL. Even my area was being encroached upon...Alta Loma/N Upland..with that big shopping center they built on 19th St, and the low lifes it attracts.

LV is a transient city with a lot of last chancers coming here. The summers are like living in an oven for 4 months. The rest of the year ain't so bad and when I truly get lonely I can go over the hill to visit friends in SO CA. I virtually never see any of my neighbors in my Hood here in LV. I would like a cooler place to go in the summer time..I have this fantasy of getting my old Gold Dredge out and heading for the hills in search of GOLD. It is fun to do if your getting enough to show for your labour.
