headed for Iran?

Are we sabre rattling? Or going in? Or was it just a mistake?

M.D. Holloway 09-06-2007 11:25 AM

As long as we are in the hood...

frogger 09-06-2007 11:29 AM

Whooo hooo! Ol' Junior gets to do something Daddy didnt'!

NICKG 09-06-2007 11:31 AM

god I hope not...

Burnin' oil 09-06-2007 11:31 AM

Conjecture based on speculation grounded in supposition arising from hearsay, etc.

Superman 09-06-2007 11:33 AM

Well, given the potential for disaster here, it's just a very good thing that our President is not prone to making verbal or tactical or strategic mis-steps.

onewhippedpuppy 09-06-2007 11:35 AM

Oh good Lord. As if we couldn't just lob one over from the hundreds of silos across the USA. Or from one of the many missile subs patrolling the oceans. Or from one of our many warships in the region. This isn't WW2 people, we aren't going to strap one onto a B29 and literally drop it on them.

Since when is some goofy looking guy's blog a relevant source?

nostatic 09-06-2007 11:42 AM

The blog is just opinion and speculation, but the fact is that the nukes were flown. The official story is that it was a mistake. 99% chance that is the case. But people don't always tell the truth.

Bush has his plate OVERFLOWING already. My money is on the present administration giving the nod to Israel before the boys here leave office. They can't take the chance on Hillary NOT getting elected ...too late then.

It won't be a nuke strike however, that's preposterous.

Wow, a conjecture, wrapped in a burrito inside a BLT. The Air Force is irrelevant anyway: Want to nuke without anyone seeing the BUFFs launch from the Midwest...Navy subs. First one delivered in 30 minutes or the next ones free:cool:

I know a guy, a friend of mine...;)

frogger 09-06-2007 11:47 AM

Mmmmm, burritos. :)

onewhippedpuppy 09-06-2007 11:48 AM

I can't belive that it was anything other than a mistake. Our military has taken enough crap already, no need to ask for more.

I agree with Mo, supporting an Israel offensive would not shock me. Non-nuclear though. Attacking another country with nuclear weapons in this day and age would be suicide. If we see them used again, it will be by terrorists.

This bothers you (and Supe) . . . and yet all the nuke-saber development by that NUT CASE in Iran gets a pass?

Interesting. (and, quite frankly, scary.) I've known you guys too long to conclude that you're stupid, but WTF? Is you hatered for GW that deep?

The nuke BLT will feed a family of 5 for, like, 15,000 years.

Accidental loading of nukes, NFW...someone should be/will be a Man Called Horse very soon.

That's Todd, always posting venom and bile

Hmm..

According to the experts cited in MT it sounds like it would be virtually impossible for that to happen by mistake. Too many individuals had to make too many mistakes simultaneously.

Probability for that to happen: 0.1x0.05x0.02x0.008= etc

But then sooner or later a random block of stone from outer space will hit us so badly that the reign of the human race is over.

Still....freak accident ?

I would love to hear the comments from the first officer to notice. "Hey! Wait a minute. Isnīt that a .....Ooups!!!!

Livi...the Military Times is not affiliated with any branch of our services.

Those, "officers who tipped Military Times to the incident who have asked to remain anonymous since they are not authorized to discuss the incident, have since updated that number to six." are dead men flying.
