as some of you are aware i have a deep dark EVIL FETISH aside from p-cars.

i am a certified SCUBA FREAK(33years) HOOK LINE AND SINKER!

been into the unda-wata camera thang for awhile. dumped lots of bucks into cameras and goodies. had my fair share of issues. flooded cameras,crap pictures, strobes not going off etc.

purchased a sealife digital DC-310 a coupla years ago. has been wonderful to work with. taken incredible pictures underwater. never an issue on land either. up until a month ago started taking 1/2 and 1/2 pictures every once and awhile.

meaning 1/2 of one pic superimposed on another. didnt happen all the time. if i took 100 pics maybe 2 would be crap.

since im leaving for barbados to celebrate my 50th birthday of raising holy hell on this planet.........i decided to see what sealife would do as far as fixing my dc-310 3.3 mega pixel camera and sent it back.

understand :

A) it was out of warranty

B)abused to hell

C) showing its age

D) discontinued

sealife just informed me they will upgrade me, for the measly a$$ sum of $300 bucks to their latest greatest DC-600 with strobe 6.1 megapixels. and throw in some extra batteries! uses 1 GIG memory card(YES!)

these guys were wonderful to deal with. i call them the way i see 'em. if its good ..........ITS DAMN GOOD! if its bad................ITS FUCHED UP BIG TIME! no middle gray areas.

these are the same people that import STEINER BINOCULARS of which i own (2) pairs. 10x50 military and 6 x 30 miltary. i had an issue on the 6x30 civilians i had owned and they upgraded me for free to the 6x30 miltary waterproof model.

great people. cant say enough about them.

taking a good picture on land is difficut in and of itself. not a good picture but a great picture. they are few and far between even for pros.

throw the whole damn camera underwater and everything goes to hell in a handbasket fast. its a wonder anyone ever comes back to the surface with any pictures ever.

really really am pumped to use this along with my nikonos V w/SB-105 strobe. stay tuned for pics from it.

in a week and 1/2................every damn living creature off of barbados will be permanently blinded by my strobes going off every 15 seconds. i will be a battery charging FOOL!
