Saying good bye to a good friend
She was born in Lock Haven PA on September 12, 1939 as a J4a Cub Coupe. She was purchased by my Dad and I in 1976 when I was 16 years old. I took most of my flying lessons in her, a true joy to fly. She is now moving to Muskegon MI where she will be flown a lot more, and should be. A great old Cub which I will truly miss but always remember..

She's beautiful. At least you've got pictures and a logbook full of memories to be proud of.

Here is what replaced her, well she will never be replaced, but the SE5a I build back in 1989 have been flying it since then, What I will miss is flying formation with the Cub and chasing her all over the sky, thats a lot of fun, The SE5 is experimental 85% scale. Here is a vid of it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=yP0aFbI1S4k ![]()
