Mini Cooper S van grocery getter?
I'm contemplating replacing my 98 Saturn wagon (17k miles) with an Austin Mini (original, not current) van. The Saturn is just a grocery getter and the cargo space in a Mini van would probably be all I need.
Thinking about looking for an already built Honda V tec powered lil' hotrod to split the driving fun with my SC (I'm obviously not a purist). Thinking it would be real reliable with the Honda drive chain and a shoe box of fun to drive. Anyone have first hand experience with these?

You mean like this...
http://www.minimania.com/web/DisplayID/1711/SCatagory/ENGINE/DisplayType/Technical%20Information/ArticleV.cfm I've never done it, but I know there are a lot of parts available to do the conversion. I guess they are available over here pre-built but I don't know where to suggest you start looking.

Yup. There are several websites pertaining. Some really cool little cars (the originals won the Monte Carlo Rallye overall, several times). I'm thinking about an already built one.
