Geeze I love my job. Awesome customers with chops RE: Higgins post

I'm just stunned. Occasionally some of my customers will send recordings and stuff they've done using some of the work they've bought from my. This particular guy is in France, and is one of the most prolific senders of soundclips - many of which have found thier way onto my driving tunes. Awesome guitarist named Thierry Huylebroeck who come from the band KOB, and formerly from a band called WOTAN that I had heard of when I was much younger.
Anyways, Thierry has been my most frequent individual customer, and has brought quite a bit of business my way from France, so much so that when I display at our major trade show in California, I want to fly him out to be my "booth musician" as my way os saying thanks, and just to meet this guy in general.
I decided that I'd send him a set of pickups he'd been wanting to try out, and especially knowing that he'd send back some stinkingly good recordings.
And oh my, did he.

This is what he sent and my jaw has hit the floor. Some damn good ZZ Top stuff here!

I don't, sorry. I'm very anti-active, as I feel it detract from a nice, natural organic tone.

I saw Leon Russell at the Triple Door last night. Chops were exhibited. We think of rockabilly/gospel as simple stuff and it is, but Russell's chops are the kind that, played slowly enough to catch all the notes, will entertain the most technical and educated of musicians. He's been bored with major and minor chords for decades.
