Just back from Tull concert

For the someteenth time.

As always, incredible. Ian Anderson is like old, mouldy cheese. Just gets better with age.

If they come close to you, GO SEE THEM. The re-arrangement/opening sequence for Aqualung ALONE was worth it. Indescribeable.

Saw them last fall. Really beyond most people's comprehension of excellence. Eclectic and electric. They have lost nothing.

One of the best. Aqualung, locomotive breath and the rest still bring a smile to my face...

Saw them at Irvine Meadows back in the early 90's. Procol Harem opened the evening's festivities. What a fantastic night of music. You haven't really heard "Whiter Shade of Pale" until you've heard it live at an outdoor show. MAGICAL!!!

Okay, back to JT...

Tull actually had a living room set up on the stage and invited a few couples to "join them on stage" for the show. Would have loved to have been up there with them.

My wife, the first one, used to brag about being first-chair floutist in high-school and college. She could only stare in amazement when she watched Ian Anderson perform. Hit every note while travelling all over the stage. Of course I had to let her know he used to be even more active in his younger years!

Remember the first time I indulged in some tai stick. The 8-track, Headphones and Aqualung made the experience perfect. How many years ago was this?....too many!

I had a friend, who has since passed away, that was a Tull fanatic. Between 1975 and 1979, we saw him 2 or 3 times around Los Angeles. Always different venues like The Forum, Long Beach Arena, Dorothy Chandler, and maybe even the Coliseum.

We always had a great time, the shows were always fantastic, and we were always higher than a kite. Hence, my memory is kaput....
