Wow, when I asked my contractor about doing some tricky tile work he laughed and said he's not a tile guy. Nice job, wish I talked to you first.

Wow! That looks fantastic.

Though I have to ask, is that a popular style now? I know of old houses with that look. Is this just an "odd" situation where one person wants that retro look, or is this style becoming popular again?

Tobra 11-07-2007 08:12 PM

That is pretty bad ass.

Be glad you are not doing it on the walls too.

This house is 80-90 years old.

I did a similar install in an 1890's mansion B&B in Napa.

KT,
DON'T DO IT AGAIN!!!

Why work for free?

Job looks awesome though, you need to charge more to pay for the P-Habits.

I always love the look of freshly laid tile. That's quite a job, nice work!

KFC911 11-08-2007 03:00 AM

Nice! Are you seeing "black dots" in your sleep :)

trekkor 11-08-2007 05:50 AM

Yes, I learned my lesson on this one.

Next person that wants a mosaic floor, is really going to have to want it.http://www.914club.com/bbs2/style_em...fault/goof.gif

It was a good exercise in patience, however.

Next time, subcontract out to "Stoners 'R Us". May take a while to finish, but they won't get impatient...

I like it - very period - you did a great job!

71T Targa 11-08-2007 06:42 AM

I think that looks great, and I'll bet they love it.

I couldn't have it in my house though. Makes me sick to look at it. Dizzy and all...

Look at it this way: You didn't do it for free... you have around 2400 little white dots left over that you can sell on ebay!
