I guess my problem is I like 430 and think it looks mean just as it is. I suppose I would put this in the "it's your money and your car so if it works for you fine" category.

But just one look at the gangsta logo complete with skull gives you an idea of this tuners attitude... pimp my Ferrari anyone?

Looks a little short on legroom

I'm sorry, but I find this car hideous. Over-styled. I like Ferrari's recent designs, but this one looks wayyyy too over the top, especially with all the slats on the rear end...

The slats on the back are to create downforce, the entire thing has been engineered in a wind tunnel

Oh I'm sure it works beautifully... but it's still ugly.

Yea, it looks even better in Coupe format. Yellow is definitely the right color.

To everyone that's hating on the black F430, stop trying to play it down like you wouldn't drive it.

I don't know that it'd be my FIRST choice, but at least I won't front about it: it damn sure wouldn't be my last, I'd drive it any day over what 97% of the general population drives, and I bet it's a major pussy magnet.

Oh Gosh just who am I kidding...even though it's a badass super car, and likely an engineering marvel, faster than just about anything almost anyone here has ever driven, I wouldn't poke it with a 10 foot pole in that color. I mean it IS all about how you'd looking pulling up to StarBucks...right?

Me either. In 30 years, that Ferrari will look just as good as it does now. (See the Sugar Daddy thread...)

It wasn't a slam on you, Motion or your wife(?). Merely a rebuttal to a certain member who seems to have a disdain for any car made after the mid-60s, and anyone who likes them.

edit: Edited for unnecessary harshness.
edit2: Still too harsh.

I'd take it out and flog it on the track if it was setup. Around town? Sorry, I don't do poseur duty. I'd frankly be embarrassed to climb out of that thing in this town.

A GT3RS? That's another story...

And I drink Peets...

ymmv.

Hey man I feel you. I'd feel embarrassed getting out of a $250,000 (or whatever price they command. I'm not shopping so I don't know) sports car, too. Just curious how it would fall under the "poseur" category.

Are you saying you'd be OK hopping out of a GT3RS in the same paint scheme?

I guess it's different strokes for different folks. I'd rock that ***** even in bright ass hot pink.

I guess I just can't imagine having enough money to buy a brand new Ferrari, and STILL caring about what people I don't know, and wouldn't like if I did know, thought of me getting out of it.
