Are there any Pelican plans for Rennsport Reunion?

Going down just as spectator - still need a room and don't know whether to stay near the beach or the track + if there is any likely center of activity for Pelican types?

Anyone have any plans?

I'm going. We're staying at the Acapulco Hotel and Resort on the beach - pretty affordable, and has high reviews on Expedia.

Tell me more about Arrogant Bastard Ale - is it an NC brew? I've never heard of it but if it is from around here I can get it.

I prefere to look for local talent, plus I may be working the event too.
Arrogant Bastard is brewed by the Stone Brewing company. I drank my very last one watch at FL. game the other week and need some very badly!!!

Looks like AB is a California brew. No NC distributors. Any West Coasters showing up that can bring some of this stuff?

If anyone can find AB anywhere on the East Coast PLEASE tell me! I really miss Stones beer, the amount of hops that goes into one bottle of that would keep Miller and Bud going for 12 months.

If you like AB, I would suggest Hobgoblin which is a British Ale. Pretty Hoppy, but a bit smoother and richer.
AB has good distribution here in Ohio. Try some of your Beer snob stores on the east coast.

I generally make a beer run to Texas to load up or friends bring me a few cases. They do sell it in TN. & KY though.

I'm attending and staying at Acapulco Hotel and Resort on the beach. First get awa for me and the wife in over a year. It's been a busy year too! New baby, new job, sold a home, bought a home and relocated from Louisiana to Georgia, had shoulder surgery and the saga continues......
