I talked with Rick earlier. He hit traffic coming into LA (shock), and wasn't sure of ETA. I'm sure he's here by now but probably fried from the drive. I think we're going to target tomorrow night in Santa Monica.

Thanks guys. Traffic was murder. I felt like Michael Douglas in Falling Down by the time I got to the hotel at 8:00!!!!! Man, it was BAD. VA traffic is a cakewalk by comparison. Anyway, we're well rested now and walking around SM. My laptop monitor fried too, so I'm a slave to the local Kinko's for Internet now. Anyone who wants to meet up in SM or anywhere convenient for most in the area, just give a call. Sorry, but I probably can't check back here today.

We passed a Carrera GT yesterday and a few minutes later my wife commented that we hadn't seen as many exotic cars in CA as she had expected. Ha ha. How much more exotic does it get than a CGT? Ate at Dean's Muscle Bar last night and that was some of the best dive bar food I've ever had. Also looked at the fires in Malibu through the telescope on the pier. Very different stuff out here from back east. Hope to see some folks tonight. Todd, if you wouldn't mind, please give me a call with a plan. Thanks. Over and out.
