First leg of my honeymoon starts in Santa Monica and we'll be there late afternoon Sunday, 10/21, leaving to head north on Tues. morning. Anyone wanna grab a few?

I'm game. I live in west LA and Santa Monica is about 5 minutes away. I don't have the boy this weekend so I'm footloose.

I'd rather she bring a friend/bridesmaid for me to practice with ;)

Just pick a place and a time and we're there. I don't know the area at all. But I'll be thirsty, since I haven't had more than about a case of beer (my bachelor party) in the last two mos., slimming down for the wedding and all.

While I have some LA folks on here, can anyone recommend me an opthamologist? Just came from my third appt. in four days and doc. says he may want me to get looked at on Monday out in LA.

We could go to Tony P's in the Marina...we could go to somewhere on the promenade for the people who aren't that familiar with this area...we could go to Sonny's 'cause it's a great Boston bar...shots at the Shack? ...not the biggest fan of the Shack though. Baja Cantina for margaritas. Maybe some place in Westwood... A few suggestions but again, I'm open to just about anywhere.

westwood village sucks...I hate it. I live in walking distance and won't go there.

If Rick is in SM, we should go somewhere there. We could hit someplace on 3rd street promenade. I frankly don't know the bar scene very well there. I have a couple of places that I sometimes go to, but not idea for this type of gathering (Liquid Kitty, West, etc). A place that makes good margaritas would be my choice. Or Kings Head if we want pub.

Rick, my ophthalmologist wouldn't be convenient (he's at County USC). Lots of them in Santa Monica and the westside though.
