If the car holds up. Why did he break so many times with Mclaren?

The car was CRAP! the Mercs were to high strung! JPM would have broken his as well if he didn't crash the damn things so much
![]() They are already having problems with the Mercs that's with Fernie behind the wheel.. Fernie is quoted for having said "the Mercs are not competitive" and that pissed then off.! they fired back and said his driving style wasn't suited for the cars set up! so it will be fun to watch this year. Ferrari will give Kimi a good car and with it the world will see JUST how good the boy is!!!! you'll see..

I hope your right!
Kimi rocks, I'd love to see him win it. There's no question that he has the talent and the speed. The Mclaren has been fragile, I think they design and build close to the limit. I'm sure, from Ferrari's track record that it likely to be more reliable. GO KIMI!

Your prediction is okay by me. But then, I haven't paid much attention since Mario won it.

I'd love to see Kimi get his dues, but no matter what I think it'll be another exiting season worth watching! The TIVO is set and ready to burn baby!

Should be a very interesting season. No Schuey, new driver-combos everywhere. I actually think Massa may give Kimi a run for his money. He is anxious to prove himself, & he is much more familiar with the car & team than Kimi.
I can't wait for the season to begin....

As I see it for the last few years, it's been the two best drivers (Schumacher and Alonso) in the two best teams (Renault and Ferrari) stomping on everone else. Personally I think that Kimi's just 1/2 a step behind Alonso, but this year he'll be with a team most likely lost half a step when Schumacher, Braun and others have left. McLaren is not the same overdog that it was in the 80's and 90's, but Alonso's still a step ahead of the other drivers. The team of Renault I expect to be as stong as ever, but I don't think that Fiscicella will be able to carry the water for them as Alonso did.
Bottom line, there should be at least those 3 teams with a strong chance for a win on any given Sunday.

Not every time has the driver hired as the top gun has worked out that way. If Massa continues to out qualify Kimi, it may be the other way around while Kimi gets settled. Who knows?
