They really don't 'get it' over at FEMA, do they?

I haven't heard a single complaint about FEMA's response to the CA fires. So why would they do something so stupid? Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

What a PR mess. There's a lot of hardworking people at FEMA though, devoted to the mission.

FEMA actually claimed to have made moves to set up for disaster before the fires broke out, just because of the predicted weather conditions. I guess they're done with putting inexperienced political cronies in charge.

Pretty impressive. I have no criticism of FEMA on this -- and the only time I personally needed help -- after the big '94 earthquake, they were excellent.

If the press doesn't come to your press conference did you really hold a press conference?

They need to fire each and every person responsible for that stupid, stupid move.

I'm sure Bush is behind this.
