Resident Alien Numbers: possible to find one out?
This isn't the typical illegal alien thread we usually read about here.
My parent's housekeeper is trying to apply for citizenship after passing the required amount of time with her green card. She's married to a controlling scumbag that is trying the thwart her attempts. On the application, she is required to give the alien registration number of her husband, but he refuses to give it to her. Does any know how to find that number? I doubt INS/USCIS will give it to her, or will they. Are they any verification sites where one can look up numbers up for a fee? Thanks,

If she already has a green card, then I doubt her citizenship application is tied to her husband. Applying for a green card would be, but citizenship, I believe, is not.
This may be unrelated, but there is a provision in the law for battered spouses or victims of domestic violence, who have not yet reached the two yr. anniv. of a marriage which qualified them for conditional status. If this woman has any documented police calls on her hubby, she can probably use them to get USCIS to help out here.
