BEIJING — A Chinese satellite successfully entered lunar orbit Monday, a month after rival Japan put its own probe into orbit around the moon, but Chinese officials denied there was any competition between the two nations.......................The lunar mission adds depth to a Chinese space program that has sent astronauts orbiting the Earth twice in the past four years.

Good news is that American space tourists will soon be able to order Chinese food on the moon.

I won't be surprised if we see the Chinese on the moon. How many Chinese parts are in the Space Shuttle right now?

If anyone has concerns about QC in Chinese manufacturing, I'd think a lunar mission would be their grandest test. They don't take mine safety very seriously. But I'm pretty sure they'd be meticulous in building a lunar mission vehicle. This would be interesting to see.

Interesting fact about the veganism. I didn't know that.
