Republican cross-dresser "I'm NOT Gay!"

SPOKANE -- State Representative Richard Curtis says he's not gay, but police reports and court records indicate the Republican lawmaker from southwestern Washington dressed up in women's lingerie and met a Medical Lake man in a local erotic video store which led to consensual sex at a downtown hotel and a threat to expose Curtis' activities publicly.

A search warrant unsealed Tuesday morning disclosed that State Representative Richard Curtis (R - La Center) had sex in his room at the Davenport Tower with a man identified as Cody Castagna, 26, of Medical Lake, who he met at the Hollywood Erotic Boutique on October 26th.

C'mon ...you have to find this somewhat amusing! The guy apparently has a 100% homophobic voting record ...and is married with kids!

Where do these idiots come from? Do they think cruising airport restrooms and Adult Video stores will NOT get them (at some point) discovered????

I was wondering how many would understand that my outrage is about the hypocrisy and not about the dirty deed.

In fact, that was my whole beef with BJ Clinton. I really didn't mind him getting serviced by an intern. In fact, I applaud it. But come on... just focking admit it and move on.

And I really don't care if the distinguished gentleman from Spokane likes to dress up as Ethel Merman and play 'hide the salami'. (I mean really.... how many of us can say we have never been caught out in drag?)

But don't vote a "do as I say, not as I do" card. If it's wrong for the populace, it's wrong for him too.

In defense (although I ask myself why?) Cross dressing really doesnt indicate homosexuality. I've known a few cross dressers and they were all straight as an arrow

I never thought it was that hypocritical for a gay lawmaker to vote against special rights for gays. I do plenty of stuff that I know is illegal or at least not condoned by the gov't., but that I would never vote to legalize if I were a lawmaker. And besides, not all lawmakers have the luxury of voting their consciences. Plenty of them actually represent the general sentiment of their constituents, personal feelings notwithstanding.

C'mon, if this doesn't make it clear then what does? There IS NO "party of God" and there shouldn't be. We're all human and we all make mistakes and commit sin. Okay, okay, so some make BIGGER mistakes or compound their mistakes ("I use a wide stance", ..uh... huh) more stupidly than others.

If no one changed their opinion on pretty much ANYTHING but just owned up to how they really believed and in the case of elected officials, voted who they ACTUALLY are, we'd all be better off.

That stuff, I don't necessarily find hypocritical. The guy could be a freak who is married with kids, but likes to get dressed up as a girl and have sex with men on the side. But because he likes to get his freak on in that manner does not necessarily mean that he has to support domestic partnerships for gays, or "gay rights."

People have sex with animals, but that doesn't mean they support "agricultural partnerships" or anti-animal-sex-discrimination rights.
