Bullet DVR - Purpose built in-car video recorder
![]() http://www.onboard.tv/video-recorders.php?pg_id=bullet-dvr Introducing the Bullet DVR system, a rugged and compact solid-state video recorder, designed for use under harsh conditions. Built for the abuse, it can withstand heavy vibrations and high G-forces, unlike regular camcorders. Fully mobile and portable, take it with you during your favorite extreme sports activities, and capture adrenaline-filled videos from a first-person point-of-view. Experience it today and discover why the Bullet DVR is the system of choice for both amateur and professional videographers around the world. BULLET-DVR FEATURES * Full D1 broadcast resolution recording * Mpeg-2 and Mpeg-4 DivX compression * Direct to Memory card storage * Solid billet aluminum housing * Shock and vibration resistant * Plug-and-Play operation * Record from any video source directly * 12VDC Output power for your Bullet cam * Built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery * Real-time clock and OSD support The Bullet DVR system is also available with an optional Lap Timer kit, used for motorsports. This kit enables the recorder to receive an IR signal from most other brands of lap timers, such as AIM Sports, Alfano, XT Racing, etc. and store the lap time information on the memory card for later reference, or to display it On-screen over the recorded video. This is a great addition to the basic system, allowing racers to playback their track sessions and visually see where they make mistakes and where they need to improve their speed, braking points, choice of lines, etc. The Lap Timer kit is a great tool for improving your skills. The standard video cable features RCA connections for audio and video, as well as a 2.1mm DC jack to supply power for your Bullet cam. There is no need to buy another battery pack for your camera, it is powered directly from the Bullet DVR unit. Alternatively, if you own a Bullet cam with Waterproof cable, select the optional Waterproof video cable for the ultimate protection and simplified connectivity. FYI. Best, Kurt |

Kurt,
Looks good but a couple of questions; you still have to buy a camera for it? And I understand it takes impact and vibration, but isn't that really a concern for the camera i.e. the camera shakes? Cheers
