Panamera cold weather testing pics....

"Friend of mine just sent these. Car was spotted in High Level Alberta with a ~20 man crew, apparently on their way to Yellowknife (waaaaay up there) to do some cold weather testing."

Little more bulbous than I was hoping for, but I can't wait to see a comparison test between this and the 4-door supercars (Flying Spur, Aston Martin Rapide)

Surprise surprise, it's going to look like a 997 with 2 extra doors photoshopped in and the hood raised a bit to fit the front engine.

Such is the creativity at Porsche these days.

I have been skeptical about the design since I saw the first spy shots, but these real life pics make me feel the look of it will grow on me. Not too bad actually. As most cars in my experience look better in the metal than in a pic, it may turn out to be pretty cool.

I dunno, is it a 4 door hatchback? looks wacked to me, I guess I would like to see it without the camo. Let's see High Level is only about 12 hours away....hmmm, maybe I can catch them on the return trip.

Does anyone think they will try to take a little mass out of the design by altering the roof line?

I'm thinking more Cayman than 928.
