Comcast is killing me...
I’m a happy tivo user who moved the tivo to the bedroom when I bought the HD/flat screen/audio stuff for the family room and gave up on making it all work together. Now Comcast is dropping the Hallmark channel the little lady loves so much and we need a Comcast box in the bedroom.
Had a Comcast guy come out and install the box in the bedroom; on his direction (after he left and nothing was working), I bought and installed an IR cable to connect the tivo and Comcast box. Bedroom problem: Tivo no longer will record/recognize anything other than channel 3. Family room problem: HD won’t receive any sports stuff (in Monterey CA area channels 723 and 724 – perhaps others). Did he/they change my contract/service? Do I need another provider? I’m very frustrated.

Give DirecTV a call. I don't think the first 80 of Comcast's channels are digital, which looks like poop on an HDTV. Maybe DirecTV has Hallmark. I hate Comcast. They hosed me when I dropped TV from them for just internet. I had to buy basic TV to get a better deal than just internet.
