I dont miss him at all, never really cared for his posts. I noticed he had strangely been keeping quiet in the political threads, and remember how he had been growing tierd of OT. So I decided to do some digging.

This must be like an early christmas for joe.

And I have stolen a new party slogan from Continental Airlines.
"As good as pie, just less calories"

Then my ******* friend goes and says "yeah just as long as pie too." Damn 3.14, why can't they make it a bigger number.

You assume correctly and if there is a God in heaven he might sell the Porsche and buy a Mitsubishi, then never return but I doubt it. He is prolly reading this thread as we type and enjoying all the attention. He was that kind of guy...

Early Christmas would be Off Ramp being given a brain, but unfortunately he would prolly take it out and play with it.

You might have noticed that I have as well be somewhat absent from the majority of the political threads. Its a waste of time as the "off ramps of the world" will rarely be convinced of anything so might as well do something productive with my time.

Sad. I see more value in debate and dissention than in conformity and homogeneity (no, that doesn't mean "gay" either - not that there's anything wrong with that).

Although sometimes his posts were a bit "out there", I doubt any of us is innocent of not having that said about us from time to time (me included).

This place will be less interesting and more bland without him around. For one I'll miss reading his stuff. It helped make this place interesting.

On-ramp had his Porsche listed for sale on Craigslist. I called him and set up a time to go check it out and then I never showed up. It was hilarious!!!!

I can't imagine some dickhead like him just quitting "cold turkey". What's he going to do with his free time, grow hair on the palm's of his hands. He'll be back!

I'm open to a good debate but his logic was illogical. I think he would fall into the category of "**** disturber" than anything else.

Probably started dating Cindy Sheehan.

It's comical that he asked for his posts to be deleted, guess he wants to destroy the evidence, proves he knew they were stupid all along.

Makes me wonder how SlowPat is spending his time these days? Digging the bunker deeper?

Joe

PS Cindy is dating Hugo Chavez so is taken... Ramp and Hanoi Jane would make a perfect pair IMHO.

i wonder if on-ramp and slopat live in close proximity to each other? That breakfast meeting would be a real laugh. A veggie and militant confederate. A match made in heaven.

Actually, now that you mention that Cindy is taken I think on-ramp would be a good mate for Rene Richards.

Joe

Actually, he is clearing land to plant his vinyard in the spring. So, yes, he is moving some dirt around, but no bunkers are being dug.

I just saw him a couple of weeks ago at our yearly Porsche's on the Dragon event and he is doing well. Actually, he gave me a ride from AVL to my vacation home to pick up my 911. I met a good friend of his that was just great and had lots of cool stories to tell. His buddy was career military and just finished training troops in the Mojave to deploy to the box. (I learned the lingo from him ) Both of them actually have lots of stories and are fun to hang out and chat with. You would be amazed that in person he is nothing like he was online.. here.

Some of the haters around here need to grow up. Supposedly, we're all adults here.

Jim,

I hate to admit it but kinda miss old Pat. Course with time one always remembers the good and funny things and forgets the difficult times.

Have heard the same thing you mentioned that he is not the same in person so who knows. Maybe someday he will be back and hopefully we can all get along with each other then.

No kidding. Most time I love hanging out here. Sometimes, I'm downright embarrassed. WTF is this - high school? What, are we going to start bashing people for dressing differently than we do next?

Some people on here really are grown-ups with the intellects of children.

Can someone explain to me the rational for one being an arrogant pompous a$$ on the web and joe cool in person.

If they behaved that way in person they would get the **** kicked out of them on a regular basis.

So WTF am I missing here.

I try to be civil most of the time, what one sees here is what one gets in person, no mystery. I certainly don't hate anyone but never liked a BS'er.
