Cheap stuff tonight: Black Box Cab. Actually, it's actually pretty good. I am not impressed with the Chardonnay or the Merlot. Lot's of guests, with no "training", so no point in the good stuff.
|
I have been drinking Capt. n Coke this afternoon, now a nice bottle of wine.
|
Lots of stuff this weekend:
O'Reilly's White Chocolate liquor. Think "lower rent" white Baileys. $9.99 a world market. Too much of a good thing is not a good thing. "Roam" red wine. From California. Had a photo of a motorcycle on it...most wine is sold by the label. This was no exception. Non-exceptional. $9.99 at World Market as well. Magic Hat from the neighbor's kegerator. Sam Adams Cranberry Lambic. Nice sweet wheat beer for the holidays. I drink so little, that I tend to mix and match to ill results when I have the opportunity. |
Makers Mark, rocks.
Last night I had dinner with Jeff and had some 1792. Damn, that's a nice whiskey! |
I've got one of those Heineken mini kegs.
Just tapped it a few minutes ago. KT |
Earlier this afternoon, Jim Beam Black Label, slight drip of water to cut it, and a little powdered sugar and honey. Was actually quite good...

Mission Hill Oculus, 2002. (only one left from '02) It is in the decanter, so I guess I am going to finish it...... :)

do you sip absinthe or do it in a shooter?

Thought I'd revive this thread as it's one of my OT favorites. IMO, PPOT at its best--you can have the political BS.
So, what are you drinking tonight? Here's my current favorite (sadly, though, now I'm drinking iced green tea): http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1217643388.jpg Cheers, Jack |
Yumm. Wife's out of town.
A beautiful wednesday. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1218676395.jpg |

Bushmills BlackBush (yea I know, no whiskey in the summer) Your wife says hi btw :D |
1995 Gallo Sonoma Frei Ranch. Its a shame Julio only made "real" wine for a few years, b/c when they threw their resources at it, wow...

not exactly drinking, but lime sherbet with a shot of tequila over it. surprisingly refreshing.

Just a basic Bacardi and Diet Coke tonite, but last Saturday night I was at a birthday party and pitchers of Caipirinha were being consumed like so much water. (At least, that's what I remember...)
Mmmmmmmmmmmm, Brazilian Cacacha! :D <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vGw2IPFhy5k&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/vGw2IPFhy5k&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Randy |
