The DeHaan Twins Are Here!

I got the twins on Monday. A 28 gauge and a .410 bore. They are really pretty close for off the shelf guns. Very svelte guns with beautiful lines and fit me extremely well, for a guy with monkey arms. The fit and finish on both is great. The .410 is simply stunning!

Not a dumb question. Hell yeah! I drove my 1970 911S Targa like I stole it. Form and function have to follow each other in my house. No wall hangers, safe or garage queens here. They do however round out my own collection of shooters. I think I may be done for a while. ;-)

Wow, some how I just couldn't see dragging those babies through the mud and grit duck hunting. Skeet shooting maybe. Sort of like going offroading with your short wheelbase 250 Ferrari Lusso.

This is why I buy [relatively] cheap guns. I like to shoot.

Not saying I don't have an appreciation for a fine firearm--I just don't have the bankroll.

Went to their website...suprisingly affordable. I'm tempted for an off the shelf O/U U2/U2E for quail hunting....especially the ones they have in stock and on sale.

Wow, they aren't that expensive. Considering that my four shootable shotguns cost me $1,400 total, they are within reach...

Yep, $1019.00 each. That's a bargain in the double shotgun world. However, Dehaan is now only going to make custom guns. The 28 gauge was the last one off the rack, and the .410 bore was the last of two. I suspect the other one is gone by now. The customs start at twice the price. Legion, you have 4 shotguns now? You're catching up with me.

Dueller if you are serious, they too are very good guns. Both Cody and Mark are great to deal with and I had these in a week from order to FFL.

As the others have stated Hugh, they are affordable. Of course they are nice looking too so a duck blind might be a bit much. I mainly shoot clays, but I am planning a trip to the Dakotas for pheasant this year and I will be walking these two around. I love shooting a 5lb. .410 when everybody else is dragging around a 10 lb. 12 ga. all day.

Dave,

They are simply beautiful and will round out your stock very nicely.
They are in the right pair of monkey arms

They are sideplated box locks. No pins showing on the plates.

Thanks Paul. Make sure you show Jack too.

SO sorry about your car, but you are OK and that is the main thing.
