My nine year old is really into fishing all of a sudden. The ojisan from kendo class took him fishing on his boat and now he's bought his own rod and borrowed books from the library. Unfortunately he's pretty much on his own with this hobby as I've been fishing maybe twice in my life. I guess we'll be learning together. Luckily fishing is a huge hobby in Japan so someone can always show us.
Like the other night when we stayed at a small beach house. The owners son took my son fishing on the beach and he caught these little white fish. They made excellent tempura. ![]() |
