Thanks Mark.

There was a company back in the day called H-0 racing. They had what was called a Strong arm suspension package. It came with H-O racing springs, Koni 3 way adjustable shocks, and 1 3/8-in sway bars front and rear. I also added spindles from a "F" body car, boxed lower control arms, polygrahite bushings and a quicker steering box that was 2.5 turns lock to lock. Believe it or not, this car handles pretty damn good. There were several articles published in the 80's and 90's of this suspension package on various A body cars that were able to pull over 1g on the skidpad. pretty good for a heavy car.

I have the same springs and shocks on my hardtop. But never changed to the bigger swaybars. Both cars ride very nice, not as floaty as the old muscle cars tended to be.

Use as a daily driver? Well other then work, I would never drive it anyplace where I couldn't keep an eye on it. If your in a hurry, forget it. everytime you stop for gas, you'll hear about someones brothers uncle who had one just like it

The car is very reliable and relativly comfortable, but it really depends on what your used to. When my GTO was my daily driver that was all I knew. It was great then. But there is no hiding 4100 lbs of weight. If it has the factory manual steering it will probably feel extremely heavy. If it has the factory power steering it will feel pretty vague. The Air conditoning can work very well.

Daily driver, I don't know. But a couple time a week to work and to play with on the weekends you bet. I don't know maybe i'm getting soft. I don't have a radio in my 911 and it has coil-overs and is extremely stiff. I love it. But honestly, I think I love it more because I only have to love it when I feel like it. It's the same with the GTO. It's nice sometimes to hop into the quiet confines of a modern car. it's makes me enjoy all the other toys even more.
